Voice of the Jungle

Many of you would remember from the school days a story by Rudyard Kipling about the little elephant that had acquired a trunk as a result of his insatiable curiosity. It happened on the banks of the “grey-green, greasy Limpopo River” in a frightful tug-of-war with a crocodile.
Here is how the author describes the ecstasy of the baby receiving the gift of his own voice:
“So the Elephant’s Child went home across Africa frisking and whisking his trunk…he sang to himself down his trunk, and the noise was louder than several brass bands.”

And now he’s got a proper orchestra-type trumpet that sounds the length and breadth of the African continent, as if to say, “It’s me, here I am!” This trumpet call of the little guy signals arrival of the young Lord of the Jungle.
